Abstract:
In order to improve the recovery of thin heavy oil reservoir after cold production,injection-production parameters influencing hot water flooding have been studied.According to the core flooding laboratory experiment under the simulated reservoir conditions and thermal recovery environment, the geological model and numerical model were established with petrel and thermal recovery module of CMG,respectively.Du66 Block development under various temperatures, injection patterns and IPR were compared, the development mode of flooding shift in moderate water cut stage and alternating injection of hot and cold water were selected. The study shows the optimized development mode includes flooding shift at water cut of 60%,7 cycles of alternating injection of hot and cold water, and injection of 80 ℃ hot water at 0.95 IPR,which can result in an increase of oil displacement efficiency of 17.27% over cold water flooding. The research results show that hot water flooding can improve the development effect of thin heavy oil reservoirs and provide technical support for their economic development.
