水平井控水砾石充填防砂技术研究

Study on the Sand Control Technique for Gravel Packing with Water Control for Horizontal Wells

  • 摘要: 为满足控水与防砂的双重需求,解决控水筛管充填难度大及后续地层处理难的问题,通过设计旁通滑套AICD筛管并完善其配套技术,研究了一种水平井控水砾石充填防砂技术。旁通滑套AICD筛管通过增加旁通滑套提供额外液流通道,降低充填压力,通过开关滑套满足地层处理及提液等需求。为验证其可行性,自主搭建了可视化水平井充填模拟试验平台,采集压力、排量等数据,实时记录充填过程,对控水充填进行量化分析及可视化评价,为优化施工参数提供依据。利用该平台开展了旁通滑套AICD筛管与常规AICD筛管水平井模拟充填对比试验。试验结果表明,采用旁通滑套AICD筛管进行砾石充填,排量为0.40 m3/min、砂比为4%时,充填效率可达100%,试验结束后旁通滑套开关状态良好,与常规AICD筛管砾石充填对比,施工压力更低,作业时间更短,砾石充填密实。研究结果表明,旁通滑套AICD筛管结构设计合理,配套的控水充填技术切实可行,为水平井控水防砂完井提供了新思路。

     

    Abstract: To fulfill the dual demands of water and sand control, and to solve the problems in gravel packing with water control screen and implementing subsequent formation treatment, a AICD screen with a by-pass sliding sleeve was designed and matching technologies were improved. A sand control technique using gravel packing combined with water control for horizontal wells was then proposed. The sliding sleeve can provide an additional flow channel to decrease the packing pressure and can be opened or closed on the demand to complete formation treatments and enhance fluid production. To confirm the feasibility of the technique, we designed a visual simulation test platform for gravel packing in horizontal wells. The platform can collect pressure and flow rate data, record the gravel packing in real time, quantitatively analyze and visually evaluate water-control gravel packing for the optimization of construction parameters. Comparative tests of conventional and the AICD screen with by-pass sliding sleeve were carried out. The results showed that gravel packing efficiency of AICD screen with by-pass sliding sleeve can reach 100% with a flow rate of 0.4 m3/min and a sand concentration of 4%. Compared with the conventional one, the novel screen led to lower packing pressure, shorter working time, and more compact gravel packing. In addition, the sliding sleeve also showed good switching performance after the tests. The research confirmed that the structure of the AICD screen with by-pass sliding sleeve is reasonably designed and the matching water control packing technique is feasible, and can provide horizontal wells a new solution for sand control completion with water control.
