双台肩钻具接头性能校验方法研究与应用

Research and Application of a Performance Calibration Method for a Double Shoulder Tool Joint

  • 摘要: 双台肩钻具的抗扭强度比API钻具高,其应用越来越广泛,但由于对双台肩接头的性能无全面的校验方法,导致双台肩钻具在应用过程中经常发生故障。为此,通过总结现场经验、分析双台肩钻具生产厂家及标准的要求、根据双台肩钻具接头的受力,建立了双台肩钻具接头性能校验方法。该校验方法通过计算双台肩钻具接头的钳长、接头内外径匹配程度、上扣扭矩、螺纹抗剪切强度、台肩提升能力和抗压强度等性能参数对其进行校验。中国石油的一些钻井项目,在应用双台肩钻具时,利用该校验方法对双台肩钻具接头的性能进行了校验,发现双台肩钻具接头性能达到要求后未再发生双台肩钻具故障。这表明,利用建立的双台肩钻具接头校验方法对接头性能进行校验,可以保证双台肩钻具接头的性能达到要求,保障钻具安全。
    Abstract: Because the torsional strength of double shoulder drilling tools is higher than that of API drilling tools,it has been used extensively. But due to the lack of comprehensive calibration method for the performances of double shoulder joints,it often fails in its application. Therefore,a performance calibration method for double shoulder tool joint has been developed according to field experiences,requirements of manufacturers and relevant standards for double shoulder tools,together with the force on the tool joints. The performance calibration can be conducted through the calculation of tong lengths,matching between ID and OD of joints,make-up torque,shear strength of thread,shoulder lifting capacities,compressive strength,etc. As such,the calibration method has been used in some drilling projects of CNPC,none of the double shoulder drilling tools failed as long as the connection performance meets requirement. It is showed that the newly developed calibration technique for double shoulder tool joint can ensure its performance requirement,and provide the safe drilling tools.
