The Deep and Slim Casing Milling Technology of Well SU7 in Suqiao Gas Storage

  • 摘要: 苏桥储气库SU7井套管段铣施工时因井深、井眼直径小而导致铁屑上返困难、易卡钻及丢鱼头等风险,为此,根据段铣速度控制方程和铁屑悬浮力计算方程,确定了段铣施工参数和钻井液性能参数,同时用液压水龙头驱动代替转盘驱动,并优化了钻具组合,形成了深井小井眼套管段铣技术。SU7井套管段铣时连续段铣套管50.0 m,未发生井下故障,套管段铣效率提高了2倍以上。该井套管段铣现场实践表明,深井小井眼套管段铣技术能够满足苏桥储气库废弃井封堵套管段铣需要,且能够提高段铣效率、避免出现井下故障,可以在其他类似情况的油气井套管段铣中推广应用。

     

    Abstract: The casing milling of Well SU7 in Suqiao Gas Storage was exposed to a series of risks due to its deep and slim hole.For example,returning of iron filings was difficult,drill pipe sticking tended to happen easily and the fishing head was lost.To solve these problems,milling parameters and drilling fluid property parameters were determined according to the milling speed control equation and the iron fillings suspension force calculation equation.In addition,the driving mode based on hydraulic swivel was adopted,and the bottom hole assembly was optimized.Thus,a casing milling technology suitable for deep and slim holes was developed.This technology was applied in Well SU7,no downhole failure occurred during 50.0 m continuous casing milling,and the casing milling efficiency more than doubled.The results demonstrated that this casing milling technology is suitable for deep and slim holes and can meet the milling requirements of plugged casing sections in abandoned wells in Suqiao Gas Storage,improve milling efficiency and avoid downhole failure.This techniqueis applicable to the casing milling of oil and gas wells having similar conditions.
