钻井提速工具经济性预测评价方法

Assessment of the Economic Performance of ROP Enhancement Tools

  • 摘要: 目前常用的提速工具经济性评价方法都是在钻后进行评价,不能为特定井段优选提速工具提供依据,为此,以单位进尺成本为准则,提出了一种钻井提速工具经济性评价新方法。该方法首先结合提速工具性能指标进行钻前预测,然后利用提速工具第一趟钻的实钻参数,对后面几趟钻的经济性进行随钻预测,并根据单位进尺成本预测最后一趟钻应用提速工具的经济性,完钻后计算应用提速工具井段的钻井总费用,并与邻井未应用提速工具相同井段的钻井总费用进行对比,以确定提速工具的经济性。实例验证及研究结果表明,钻井提速工具经济评价新方法可指导特定井段提速工具的优选和快速及时地预测提速工具的经济性。

     

    Abstract: Currently,most assessments on the economic performance of ROP enhancement tools are performed upon the completion of relevant drilling operations.Consequently,such assessments may not provide necessary references for the optimal selection of tools for specific well intervals.Thus an innovative technique for assessing the economic performances considering per-foot cost of ROP enhancement tools was proposed.Considering the specifications of ROP enhancement tools,the technique can be used to predict performances of such tools in advance.In later stages,the drilling data from the first operation can be used to predict the economic performance of subsequent operations while drilling.Eventually,the overall economic performance of such tools can be predicted in accordance with per-foot cost.Upon completion of relevant drilling operations,the overall drilling cost in the interval can be determined and compared with those in identical intervals of nearby wells without the necessity of applying the same ROP enhancement tools.Research results and field application results show the innovative technique can be used in assess the economic performance of ROP enhancement tools efficiently and in a timely manner.The technique is useful for identifying the optimal tools for specific intervals.
