准噶尔盆地南缘山前构造带钻井提速研究

Increasing the Penetration Rate for Piedmont Belt of Junggar Basin

  • 摘要: 针对准噶尔盆地南缘山前构造带泥岩层段黏土含量高、地层易破碎,钻进中易发生粘卡、井漏、井壁失稳等而导致钻速慢、时效偏低的问题,进行了钻井提速研究。从该地区逆冲推覆体断层和褶皱的地应力特征入手,分析了泥岩的岩石力学特性,包括流变性地层的井壁稳定性特征、地层蠕变速率及其影响因素、井壁岩石崩落掉块机理、地层矿物成分及理化特性等,提出了山前构造带地层钻井提速技术对策,并在风险探井——西湖1井进行了现场应用。现场应用表明,采用具有较强抑制性和封堵能力的PRT有机盐钻井液,能有效减少因吸水膨胀造成的井壁失稳,并能解决井漏问题;用螺杆配合优选的PDC钻头进行钻进,钻速大幅提高,平均机械钻速达到3.00 m/h。与邻井西5井相比,西湖1井的井深增加20.5%,但井下故障大幅减少,钻井周期缩短11.9%,提速效果明显。由此证明,提出的钻井提速技术对策,能够有效解决山前构造带地层机械钻速和钻井时效偏低的问题。

     

    Abstract: The mudstone section in piedmont structures at the south margin of Junggar Basin is characterized by high clay content and fragility,which caused drill pipe stuck,lost circulation,borehole instability,slow penetration rate and low drilling efficiency.In view of these problems,the topic of increasing penetration rate has been carried out.Proceeding from stress characteristics of the region that belongs to thrust nappe fault and fold,mechanical properties of mudstone was analyzed in detail,including borehole stability,formation creep rate and affecting factors of rheological formation,sidewall rock collapsing mechanism,mineral composition and physical and chemical characteristics of the formation.A technique of raising penetration rate in the piedmont belt was put forward,which had been used in exploration Well Xihu 1.The application showed that the strong inhibitory and plugging ability of PRT organic salt drilling fluid system,could effectively reduce borehole instability caused by water absorption swelling,and prevent the loss circulation,combined PDM with PDC bit could improve penetration rate significantly,the average penetration rate had reached to 3.00 m/h.Compared with the offset Well Xi 5,the depth of Well Xihu 1 is deeper than that of former by 20.5%,but the downhole trouble is far less than Well Xi 5,drilling cycle time shortened by 11.9%.It has proved that the proposed the technique of raising penetration rate could be effectively applied in the piedmont belt.
